You really think AMD will launch Piledriver in 1Q2012 with Bulldozer launching in 4Q2011? I don't think I've ever seen a refresh carried out that quickly before. I also don't recall any FX Series model numbers for Piledriver being announced. In anycase, my only argument was that the FX series should not be held up as Piledriver based when the first generation has YET to launch. How can we call the FX series a second generation based product? That is the same as saying Core i7 will be Haswell based. Sure it will, after Ivy Bridge launches.
